The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Assam and Meghalaya on April 29 and 30, adding that rain, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning, and gusty winds are expected to continue over Northeast India.
Furthermore, the maximum and minimum temperatures in Guwahati are expected to hover around 34 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
RAIN SPELL LIKELY
Predicting rain and thunderstorms over parts of Northeast India, the IMD wrote, “Rain, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning, gusty winds are likely to continue over Northeast India. Isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh on April 30 and May 1; over Assam-Meghalaya on April 29 and 30” (sic)
