Nagaland built an Indoor stadium made of Bamboo: Capacity to accommodate 5000

An indoor stadium has been built to host a mega wrestling match in the Phek district of Kohima, Nagaland. The stadium is able to accommodate 5,000 people together. This stadium 210 ×210 ft depicts the hard work and dedication of about 30 locals led by Medove Tetseo, who constructed the concerned stadium within 15 days, without taking the help of any kind of blueprint.
The materials required to complete this stadium are 1,000 pieces of bamboo, 700 kg of the fence, 44100 feet tarpaulin. They did not use any other materials and other sources to make this stadium. They used the theme (DIY) ‘Do It Yourself’ so that everyone gets motivated and work by passion. The mega wrestling match will commence on 21 January at this new indoor stadium in Nagaland. A total of 32 contestants from 9 villages have participated in this mega wrestling match. The total construction cost of this indoor stadium is around RS 8,000, as informed by Veshuzo.
