Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held an important meeting with Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today. The meeting mainly discussed a few issues related to bilateral interests as well as strengthening friendship and cordial relations between the two states. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma also said that the meeting also gave importance to improving inter-state relations in the interest of continuing the joint development and public welfare projects between the two states.
Nagaland Chief Minister Reo, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, and former Chief Minister TR Zeliang were also present at today’s meeting.
