To clear the extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate one special train between Dibrugarh – Alipurduar Jn. – Dibrugarh via Dhubri for one trip in both directions.
Special Train No. 05938 (Dibrugarh – Alipurduar Jn.) will leave Dibrugarh at 07:30 hours on November 25th, 2022, and arrive at Alipurduar Jn. at 06:30 hours the following day. In the opposite direction, Special Train No. 05937 (Alipurduar Jn. – Dibrugarh) will depart Alipurduar Jn. at 18:00 hours on Monday, November 28, 2022, and arrive in Dibrugarh at 17:00 hours the following day.
The special train will travel through Duliajan, Simaluguri Jn Dimapur, Lanka, Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, Dhubri, and New Coochbehar stations in both directions.
The special train will have 18 coaches. There will be two AC three-tier cabins, a 12-sleeper class, two general seating classes, and two Seating Cum Luggage Rakes.
