Priyanka Gandhi Vadra says, “I am the face of the Congress in UP

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the AICC in-charge of Utter Pradesh has revealed for the first time that she will be the party’s face in the state for the upcoming Assembly elections. Responding to a question about who is leading Congress, when other parties have elected too are seeking elected Chief Ministers and they too are seeking elections, she replied, “I am the face of our party. Are there any other faces in the State?” However, when asked who is leading the Congress party in the state, she replied, “I am.” The statement made by Priyanka Gandhi will have a political impact on the Uttar Pradesh elections since it was the first time that she made a statement like this. However, she is remaining reticent about disclosing her candidacy. In Delhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra released the youth Manifesto of the Congress, in which they promised 20 lakh jobs, of which eight lakh were for women. The U.P assembly election will be held in seven phases starting on February 10^th and going till March 7^th. The polling in Uttar Pradesh will held be held on February 10^th , 14^th , 20^th , 23^rd , 27^th  and March 3^rd  and 7^th .
