A school teacher has been suspended for allegedly beating two students for wearing tilak and hijab. The incident took place at Rajouri in Jammu & Kashmir.
The news is viral on social media now. A video of the two girls with parents was extensively circulated on social media. The teacher has also been charged for this cruel act.
The cruel incident took place when a teacher namely Nisar Ahmed thrashed their daughter after she arrived at school with a tilak on her forehead. The parents of the girl has alleged that their child was beaten mercilessly by the school teacher. The father of the girl Angrez Singh said that the incident will set a wrong example across the country and the public will break into a fight over religion. The parents is demanding justice.
“The way in which my daughter was treated or Shakoor’s daughter) was treated, tomorrow another trainer can beat a girl for wearing a tika or a naqab. I request the administration and civil society that there ought to be an inquiry,” stated Angrez Singh, father.
An FIR registered against the school teacher. The Police Commissioner Sachin Dev Singh ordered the suspension of the teacher. An interrogation in the matter is also underway.
