The incident of abducting the youth of Arunachal by PLA of China has created sensation around the whole North-East. The teenager of Arunachal Pradesh Miram Teran who went missing on 18 January while going for a hunt has been returned by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). After reaching home finally the youth has disclosed his situation.
After the abduction the youth was kicked and given electric shock with the taser gun twice. His hands were handcuffed and face was covered for the whole time. Teran also added that he was fed four times in a day. According to Teran it was lack of communication as both Teran and the team of PLA had no common language to speak. The PLA team tried to speak with Teran but he did not understand any of them. In fact after the abduction Teran tried to explain them that he came to hunter and got lost but the Chinese army did not understand his language. Before he was handed over to India his hands were released and they removed the cover from his face. Unaware of the situation Teran first saw four Chinese Army who were smiling at him. Then saw the Indian army who came to bring him back. Teran has also added that the Chinese army had given him many presents which were not brought by him. Teran’s father thanked the Indian Army and Government of India for bringing back his son alive and safe.
Miram Teran went missing from the Bishing area Shiung La on January 18. On request of MP Tapir Gao to the Indian government for his early release, the Indian Army had told the Chinese Army that if he has lost his way or is in his custody, then find him and immediately handed over to India. PLA of China responded positively indicating handing over the Indian youth and after two weeks china has handed over the missing youth.
