Niti Aayog member Dr VK Paul on Friday informed during a media briefing that Studies show that vaccinations can help reduce post-Covid hospitilisation by 75-80 percent and bring down oxygen requirement to 8 percent.
“Studies show that chances of hospitalisation are 75-80% less in vaccinated individuals. The possibility of such individuals needing oxygen support is around 8% and the risk of ICU admission is only 6% in vaccinated people,” Dr Paul said.
