Weather Alert: Temperature drops in the State

Freezing January. It’s hard to get out of the blankets in the morning. Temperatures are gradually falling especially in the North East, North West, and Central India. Added with the rainy weather it is getting colder every day. The Indian Meteorological Department has indicated that the temperature in the region could drop down to 3-5 degrees Celsius in the next five days. Especially in areas including West Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, East Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, etc.
On the other hand, the hilly Himachal Pradesh has the highest snowfall of the year on January 23. The capital city of Kufri-Shimla, Dharamshala, etc. has been frozen with thicknesses of 20 cm to 62 cm.
