Sivsagar MLA, Akhil Gogoi on Friday finally visited his constituency for the first time as an MLA after winning the election. However, there are many questions coming up regarding his health issues reports.
On Thursday, after NIA Court discharged him from all the charges, Akhil left the GMCH complex where he was undergoing treatment as a patient while he was in judicial custody.
Later, Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) wrote a letter to the Principal Secretary of the Home department that the leader has left the hospital against medical advice signing the release from responsibility for discharge.
Speaking to the media, GMCH Superintendent, Abhijit Sarma said, “We are not responsible for his health. He just met our medical board team soon after his release and told them he is not willing to stay here anymore, left the hospital against medical advice,” adding Sharma also said that he’s health is not fit totally. He has many medical issues starting from a cervical spine injury, psychosomatic problem, etc.”
Further, he also said, “Akhil Gogoi should have stayed for at least two to three days in the hospital as he is medically unfit.”
