The Rajya Sabha MP will hold public rallies at Dibrugarh, Jorhat, and Biswanath Chariali on Monday ahead of the Assam Assembly elections.

Earlier on Sunday, PM Narendra Modi visited Assam and held an election rally in Golaghat. During the rally, he stated that the state will witness a ‘double engine’ NDA government for the second time.

The election for Assam Assembly is scheduled to take place in three phases from March 27 to April 6. Results will be announced on May 2.
