Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday once again assured the five guarantees that the party promised in its election manifesto.
The Congress leader spoke about the five guarantees at a public rally at Chaygaon. Rahul Gandhi further stated that before making its election manifesto, the party has discussed extensively with the people of Assam.

The Indian National Congress leader participated at a public rally in Chaygaon where he campaigned for candidates Rekibuddin Ahmed, Nandita Das, and Jatin Mali.
Rahul Gandhi also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that Modi government has always deceived the people of Assam.
“If Congress comes to power in Assam, the daily wage of the tea garden laborers will be Rs. 365. Assam will run by Assamese if Congress comes to power.” Rahul Gandhi added.
He further stated that Assam will not have any control from Delhi if Congress comes to power in the assembly elections.
The former Congress party President before his public rally visited Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. He was accompanied by Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Ripun Bora and others.
