As per the recent reports, the poll percentage at Kamrup Metropolitan Election District till 9 AM is:
• Jalukbari – 13 percent
• Dispur – 12 percent
• Guwahati (East) – 11 percent
• Guwahati (West) – 11 percent
Polling is underway in 40 constituencies during the third and final phase of the Assam Assembly Polls which began at 7 AM and is currently underway.
A total of 337 candidates are in the fray in the third phase of the polls.
A total of 79,19,641 voters are eligible to cast their votes in the final phase of the elections.
Of them, 40,11,539 are male and 39,07,963 are female, while 139 are third gender voters.
The voting is being held on 11,401 polling stations.
A total of 320 companies of security forces were deployed in the third phase which is the highest among all the phases. A total of 45,604 polling personnel have been deployed for this phase.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday also urged the voters to cast their votes in the poll-bound states in record numbers.
Elections are taking place in Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. I request the people in these places to vote in record numbers, particularly the young voters.
