“Assam Has Decided To Vote NDA for Peace and Development”: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday at the public rally in Tamulpur, Assam stated that the people of the state have decided to go for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government once again.

People of Assam are against violence and wants development, peace, unity and stability. The people have rejected parties attacking the identity of Assam for decades.
PM Modi also referred to BJP’s dispensation in the state as well as the Centre as ‘Double Engine Government’.

He further stated that the centre and state government of BJP has aided connectivity in the state and is making lives easier for women. Narendra Modi also referred to the development works done by the government in the last five years.
Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is the government’s motive. Thousands of kilometres of railway lines have been set up or inaugurated in the state in the last five years and various bridges have been developed.
Work is in progress for a multi-modal logistics hub for business development, he added. “To keep the pace of this growth, progress and development, the NDA government is very crucial.” PM Narendra Modi said.

The BJP leader also slammed the Congress government as a ‘bomb and bandook’ government and said that the NDA government have and will bring peace and development to the state.
“The way we have solved long-standing problems, we will continue to find solutions for the current problems. There’s a lot of scope for tourism and employment in Assam,” Modi added.
