Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday paid tribute to the Assam police jawans, martyred in the violent Assam-Mizoram Border clash.
Around six police personnel succumbed to their injuries following the border clash on Monday afternoon. At least 65 police personnel including the Cachar Superintendent of police, Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant, and the Dholai officer in charge received bullet injuries and were shifted to Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH).
