In a major drug bust, the Assam Police on Friday recovered 833 kilograms of Ganja (marijuana).
Based on specific information, a team of Kokrajhar Police conducted a search operation. The search team was successful in recovering 833 kilograms of Ganja worth crores.
A truck of license number UK-06-CB- 2253 carrying the huge consignment of Marijuana was intercepted at Gossaigaon. One person identified as Jasvindar Singh was apprehended.

In another event, Cachar Police strikes again and arrested another person in possession of WY tablets. Cachar during a search operation recovered over 9000 WY tablets worth over Rs. 30 lakhs.
