Tutsi Ramchiary, a 12-year old girl on Friday urged Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to work on gender discrimination.
Tutsi, who is a part of UNICEF Assam, while urging the CM narrated her story as to how her mother died immediately after her birth and her father dumped her blaming her for the death of her mother. She also questioned the CM if her father would have deserted her if she was a boy
Tutsi Ramchiary along with nine other kids called on the CM on November 20 on the occasion of World Children’s Day and presented the Children Manifesto to be considered for implementation both as government and political party.
