The seventeenth general session of the All Assam Students’ Union will be held at Duliajan from tomorrow. Dr. Lokbikash Gogoi, Principal of Duliajan College will inaugurate the entry gate of “Jyotichara” at Dibrugarh University on November 18 at 10 am.
The cultural evening will be held from 5 p.m and Central Executive Meeting will be held from 9 p.m.
The flag will be hosted at 9 am on November 19 by the President Dipanka Kumar Nath and General Secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi will pay homage to the martyrs. Dr. Samujjal Kumar Bhattacharya, the Chief Adviser of AASU will inaugurate the Cultural Parade of Coordination.
The procession will be attended by Rana Pratap Baruah, President of Assam Nationalist Youth Student Council, Actor Arun Hazarika, Madhurima Chowdhury, and Singer Deeplina Deka.
The House of Representatives will be held at 5 pm. The special attraction of the cultural evening will be Deeplina Deka and many other popular artists.
The Assam-based Saheed Memorial Inter-College Debate Competition will be held on November 20. The open meeting will be held on 21st November at 9 am.
