the honorable Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced via Twitter that for the development of the city of Guwahati several initiatives are to be undertaken such as construction of air conditioned bus stops, construction of new parks and more flyovers.
A total of 78.93 crore to be spent on the construction of the new flyover and to be completed within 18 months, tweeted the Chief Minister.
Regarding the flyover constructed in Maligaon the Chief Minister also wrote that the construction will be completed soon and the work on the Guwahati-North Guwahati bridge is also being expedited. The construction work of the second Guwahati Medical College will also be started from this month, said Sarma.
