For the second time, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma exchanged views with administrative officials on the Mission Sadbhavana program at Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra. The Sadbhavana project will start in Assam on February 1. CM asked the government officials to be more responsible. The Chief Minister has sought the cooperation of every government official and employee in mission Sadbhavana.
It takes 3 years for some employees to have DP. But the Chief Minister questioned why it takes 3 years for a matter that can be completed in 6 months. Pension work should be done by the employees themselves because it’s for their work after all.
The Chief Minister also questioned why it has to be his duty. The employees’ association brings various problems to him but does not mention the matter of pension. They should not keep the post-retirement files of the employee. The Chief Minister added, “Files tend to pile up when the rules are broken. Assam has to bring about a change or our next generation will suffer.”
A tax committee has been set up in the Cabinet. They will make an SOP and settle the old file work before May 10, 2023′.
