Kokrajhar Police in its drive to create an illegal weapons free district launched an operation in the forest area of Belguri under Serfanguri Police Station.
The force was successful in recovering arms concealed underground. The recovered weapons include:
1. One AK 56 rifle.
2. One AK 56 magazine.
3. 29 rounds of live ammunition of AK-56.
4. One 7.65 mm factory made pistol.
5. One 7.65 mm magazine.
Further investigation to nab the culprits is on.
