Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has urged students in the state to strive to be job creators rather than job seekers.

According to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the new and resurgent India provides enormous opportunities for everyone to achieve extraordinary success in their respective fields of interest and occupation.

The Assam Chief Minister made the remarks while attending a felicitation ceremony at the Changsari High School Playground in Guwahati.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the academic environment in Jalukbari assembly constituency, where he is a sitting MLA, has gradually improved since he was elected as a legislator for the first time in 2001.

According to the Assam chief minister, less than 300 students from Jalukbari obtained first division in matriculation and higher secondary examinations in 2002.

He also stated that the figure for 2022 has surpassed 2000 for the first time.

According to the Assam Chief Minister, this is a 700% increase over a two-decade period.

The Assam chief minister attributed the improvement in Jalukbari’s educational environment to collaborative efforts from all stakeholders.

He urged deserving students to aim higher and not limit themselves to jobs in grades 3 and 4.

The Assam chief minister also emphasised the importance of skill-training and skill-learning in order to maximise the economic opportunities provided by new-age technologies and digitization.

The Assam chief minister also urged Jalukbari students to be more ambitious than ever before.

Ambition, however, must be combined with sincerity, dedication, and hard work for true success, warned Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
