The Seventeenth General Session of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) started on November 18.
The Principal of Duliajan College, Lokbikash Gogoi inaugurated the entry gate of ‘Jyoti BaatChara’, designed according to the entry gate of Dibrugarh University. Another entry gate near main pavilion titled ‘Ami Ekekhon Nawore Jatri’ was inaugurated by the Founding Principal of Duliajan University Purnakanta Hazarika. The ‘Swahid Suwarani’ main pavilion and the OIL India Limited’s Exhibition were inaugurated by Surendra Nath Gogoi. Inauguration of the main door of Book Fair was done by the Duliajan Girls University Principal Lakshmi Phukan.
A Cultural meeting will be held from 5 pm and another Central Executive meeting will be held from 9 pm.
