The Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started preparing for the upcoming assembly elections in the state to be held in early 2021. Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass at a press meet in Guwahati on Tuesday informed that the party has planned to hold 3200 organisational meetings in the month of November.
Referring to the month as ‘Vibrant November’, BJP President Dass said that it would be an unmatched instance in the political history of India to organise 3200 meetings within a single month.
He also stated that state executive meetings for seven ‘Morchas’ of the party have already been successfully held. The executive meeting of the OBC Morcha of the state BJP will take place on October 30 and 31 in Dhemaji.
The Assam BJP president claimed that this massive campaign would help the party to achieve its target of 100 plus in the assembly polls.
