News Desk: The girls of Assam has again outperformed boys in Assam Board 12th Result 2020. This year, the girls pass percentage in all the stream- Arts, Science and Commerce.
Among Arts students, the pass percentage of girls is 85.02% while for boys it is 78.63%
In Science stream, the pass percentage of girls is 94.34% while for boys it is 91.08%
In Commerce stream, the pass percentage of girls is 93.85% compared to boys’ 89.55%
Pubali Deka and Shraddha Borgohain are the joint 1st Position holder of Arts Stream. They secured 481 marks out of a total of 500. A total of 44 students have made it to the list of top 10 rank holders.
Pubali Deka is from Darrang district’s Patharighat HS School whereas Shraddha Borgohain is a student from Ramanujam Junior College, Nagaon.
In Science Stream, Abinash Kalita from Anundoram Barooah Academy, Barpeta secured the 1st Position. He scored an aggregate mark of 486 from a total of 500.
A total of 25 students secured the top 10 positions.
Krishana Maheshwari, a student from Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh secured the 1st Position in Commerce Stream. She secured 471 marks out of a total of 500.
A total of 23 students made to the list of top 10 rank holders.
This year, the pass percentage of various streams are :
- Arts Stream pass percentage is 78.28%
- Commerce Stream pass percentage is 88.18%
- Science Stream percentage is 88.06%
Previous year’s pass percentage of various streams are :
- Arts Stream pass percentage was 75.14%
- Commerce Stream pass percentage was 87.59%
- Science Stream pass percentage was 86.59%.
