On the first day of the New Year, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal interacted with journalists of Assam.
The meeting was held at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Khanapara, Guwahati. Speaking on the occasion, the minister conveyed his New Year wishes to the Media fraternity of Assam.
He praised the role played by journalists in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The CM also stated that the ‘Media Pillar’ is the strongest pillar in the democratic system of India.

The minister also informed about the achievements of his government in the development of the state along with the welfare of the citizens.
Along with the Chief Minister, his Media Advisor Hrishikesh Goswami and many other dignitaries along with many senior journalists were present during the meet.
