COVID-19 Vaccination drive for teenagers from 15 to 18 year-old-age group has started in Assam today alongwith rest of the country.
The vaccination campaign was formally started by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at the OIL Higher Secondary School in Duliajan in the Dibrugarh district.
Taking to Twitter, the Assam CM wrote:

The Chief Minister also announced that the state government will try to finish the first dose of the vaccines within 45 days.
The teenagers will be vaccinated with the BharatBiotech’s COVAXIN.
It has been reported that as many as 4,261 teens have registered for the vaccination drive in the Kamrup district, Assam alone.
