The Hindu Yuba Chattra Parishad, Assam during a press meet at Press Club, Guwahati on Monday stated that China has been providing monetary funds and supporting Islamic terror groups to create violence and unrest in the state.
Central President of the Chattra Parishad Balen Baishya claimed that India’s support to Taiwan has caused concern among the Chinese government and the communist country has taken the matter very seriously.
He further stated that if India continues to support Taiwan, then the Red Dragon country is bound to help the Islamic terror groups and support violence and unrest in Assam and other North-Eastern states.
China earlier threatened that if India does pull back its support from Taiwan then India will face consequences especially the North-East states of the country.
Baishya urged the government to keep keen eyes on all the terror groups. He further urged the state government to keep an eye on the movements of political parties like AIUDF, Congress, and their leaders.
