In a tragic incident of a head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw and a traveler, two passengers were killed while 13 others were injured in Salchapra, Cachar on Friday.
Two passengers of the auto-rickshaw died on the spot. One of the deceased has been identified as Ashit Das while the identity of the other is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, thirteen people who have been critically injured in the accident were rushed to the Silchar hospital for treatment by the local residents.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
