Newly-formed political party Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) released its party flag and draft constitution on Wednesday. AJP released the flag and constitution at a programme at Hotel Prag Continent in Guwahati.

Several party leaders including its convenors were present at the event.
The flag is of blue colour and has a ring on the left side which has a red circle in it. The red circle will have the symbol of the party to be provided by the Election Commission
The party was formed recently in September under the leadership of two most prominent and strong student bodies-All Assam Student Union (AASU) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP).
