Two fake journalists were arrested for blackmailing a wine shop owner in Sivasagar on Tuesday.
Along with the two fake journalists, the police also arrested the President of Nibonuwa Suraksha Mancha.
The two journalists have been identified as Chandan Gogoi and Rintu Senchowa and the president has been identified as Apurba Sarma alias Apuraj. Rintu hails from Namti and Chandan from Jhanji.
As per allegation, the two journalists demanded Rs. One lakh from the wine shop owner under the leadership of Apuraj.
The three arrested have been taken under custody.
