State Minister of Agriculture, Atul Bora on Friday inaugurated a retail sales point of NERAMAC (North-Eastern Agricultural Marketing Corporation Limited) at Khanapara, Guwahati.

The newly inaugurated NERAMAC Retail sales point is situated at the Krishi Bhawan campus, Khanapara.
NERAMAC has been set up to support the farmers and producers of North-East to get remunerative prices for their produce thereby bridging the gap between farmers and market. It also aims in enhancing agricultural, processing, and marketing infrastructures in North-Eastern states.
The organization supplies all the natural and pesticide-free fruits, vegetables, spices, and other such items and their products.
The President of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) after the inauguration also took stock of the products of NERAMAC at the Retail shop.
