A team of police personnel was successful in apprehending a Cyber fraud, Pranab Mahanta from Sector-5, Salt Lake, Kolkata.
The team was led by Sub-Inspector, Kapil Pathak, Chhaygaon OC, Assam, and recovered ATM cards of various banks along with defrauding currencies worth Rs. 3,10,000. The Cyber offender, Pranab has been defrauding innocent people through mobile phones on the pretense of providing bank loans.
The investigation and operation were done in connection with the Chhaygaon Police Station Case No. 1103/2020.
