Assam: Protest by ATTSA Members Against the Corruptions in MBBS/BDS Quota

The Central Committee of Assam Tea Tribe Students’ Association (ATTSA) on Tuesday staged a protest at Chachal, VIP Road.

The protest was staged to showcase the corruption prevailing in the reservation quotas for tea tribes and workers in various government departments.
ATTSA President Dhiraj Gowala during a press release exhibited the use of fake Ethnic papers by non-Tea tribes. The union president informed the media about the corruption held in the reservation quota system in medical examinations such as MBBS/BDS.
The AATSA President claimed that out of the 21 seats reserved for Tea Tribes 12 seats have been taken by the students of non-tea tribes.

AATSA General Secretary Poban Bedia also gave the media the list of the 12 suspected candidates of Tea Tribes and Ex-Tea categories. The list includes the names, roll numbers, and marks obtained by the suspected students.
