After the sudden demise of the football legend Diego Maradona, a group of artists from Guwahati came together and drew graffiti of the departed football superstar.
The graffiti was drawn by “Bhejal”, a family of artists at the newly constructed part of Ganeshguri flyover.
The graffiti depicts a graphic sketch of the legendary international footballer and the famous quote of the Argentinian player, “To see the ball, to run after it, make me the happiest man in the world.”
The renowned Argentinian player breathed his last on November 25 at the age of 60 at his home in Tigre. Often referred to as ‘El Dios’ in Argentina lead his country to the 1986 World Cup title.
