Assam Health Department on Thursday has taken a great ingenious initiative by opening free Health Camps for the senior age groups of the state.
The free Health camps for senior citizens will be organized two times every month. On December 3, a total of 80 senior citizens from the Sualkuchi area were treated free of cost at the camp.
Many senior citizens of the state showered their blessing and obligations to Assam’s Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma for taking such a great initiative.
Speaking to media, a senior official of Guwahati Medical College & Hospital {GMCH) stated that the senior age group of Assam will be provided free check-ups including MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT Scan, Ultrasound.
The health camp will be supervised by professional and super-specialist doctors.
