Assam contingent After almost a gap of 2+ years, Kolkata hosted the 6th International Karate Championship, under the aegis of Karate Do Association of Bengal (KAB) at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.
The medal tally of the Assam contingent is as follows:
- Gold-3
- Silver – 4
- Bronze – 2
The gold medals were clinched by Rohit Kumar Haloi, Jintu Kumar Das, and Sourav Kumar Haloi. The silver medals were clinched by Bivek Talukdar, Mriganka kumar nath, Biswajit Das, and Krishna Das and Milon Jyoti Nath and Dhiman Barman clinched the bronze medal.
