It has been speculated that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Assam will file a charge sheet in the Assam Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment scam.
On September 20, the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) canceled the Assam Police SI posts examination within ten minutes after the commencement of the exams all across the state.
The CID has already arrested all the main accused. A total of 58 people have been arrested from different districts of Assam.
The list of arrested personnel includes Superintendent of Police Kumar Sanjit Krishna, former DIG PK Dutta and former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Diban Deka.
The investigation agency has already completed its investigation and is likely to file a Charge sheet before a Special Court in Guwahati on Wednesday.
