Assam Government on Monday made a historic move as the state ties-up with Israel for co-operation in the field of Agriculture.
Today is a historic day for Assam, as we tie up with Israel for cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal met Ron Malka, the Ambassador of Israel to India at Guwahati. Both the leaders were present during the laying of the foundation stone of the Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for Vegetables Protected Cultivation. Sonowal also expressed his gratitude to PM Narendra Modi for taking the Indo-Israel relation to a new height.
The construction for the Centre of Excellence has started at Khetri, Kamrup (Metro).
