A suspected linkman of the banned militant outfit United Liberation Front of Asom – Independent (ULFA-I) has been arrested on Saturday in Guwahati. He was accused to be illegally involved in the recruitment process of ULFA.
The accused has been recognized as Tutu Bora (35). Tutu Bora is a native of Majuli was working for Ganesh Lahon to get information on Contractors for extortion and recruit new Cadres.
Bora a resident of Gormur in Majuli district was arrested based on source inputs.
Further, no weapons has been recovered.
On the other hand the police source also suspects of his link with the recent report of a girl from Guwahati joining the outfit.
