The winter session of the Assam Assembly started on Monday and so has protests at the capital. The Tai Ahom Yuba Parishad, Assam has staged a protest at Dispur raising demands for an autonomous council.
The Pratibandi Suraksha Santha, Assam also staged a protest in the capital with demands to fill up the vacant posts of the fourth grade and the release of monthly pension.
In addition, Anganwadi workers protested at Dispur Last Gate demanding the regularization of their jobs.
