Assam has officially added a new district to its tally. Bajali has been officially declared as the 34th district of Assam on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in the inauguration ceremony declared Bajali as a full-fledged district.
Previously, Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi on January 12 had formally declared Bajali as a district.
