Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday announced that the production capacity of the Bongaigaon Refinery and Numaligarh Refinery has been increased.
The production capacity of the Bongaigaon refinery has been increased to 5 MT from 2.5 MT. The capacity has been increased at a cost of Rs. 10,000 crore.
While the Numaligarh Refinery production capacity has been increased from 3 MT to 9MT at a cost of Rs.23,000 crore.
Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal made the announcement through a tweet
Sonowal tweeted, “Assam is on the path of industrial development. The production capacity of Bongaigaon Refinery was increased from 2.5 MT to 5 MT at a cost of ₹10,000 crores. Simultaneously, production capacity of Numaligarh Refinery increased from 3 MT to 9 MT at a cost of ₹ 23,000 crore: CM.”
