Assam: Guwahati Frontier of BSF, apprehended one Indian national along with 3,620 Nos of Yaba tablets from the bordering area of village Kubegaon, South Salamara, Assam.
Acting on a tip-off, Border Security Force troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Kakripara of 06 Bn Border Security Force carried out a special joint operation with a staff of Police Station Mankachar in the general area of village Kubegaon-II, South Salamara (Assam). Special Ops party apprehended one Indian national along with 3,620 Nos of Yaba tablets on Indo-Bangladesh International border while the consignment was being smuggled from India to Bangladesh. The name of the apprehended person is Papu Miya, 30 yrs. Apprehended persons along with seized items have been handed over to PS-Mankachar for further legal action.
