The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Tuesday organized a Press meet at Rajiv Bhawan, Guwahati.
During the meet, the committee’s senior spokesperson, Durga Das Boro conveyed his congratulation to the new Chief of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Pramod Boro.
The APCC spokesperson also stated that he is hopeful that the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) President will be able to live up to the expectations of the BTC people and fulfill all the promises the new BTC Chief gave to his people.
During the meet, the APCC leader also cautioned Pramod Boro to keep his eyes open as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is well known for its treacherous schemes. Durga Das compared the BJP party to a shark in the pool of small fishes and just like sharks, BJP can make a fool out of other small parties like UPPL and Gana Surakhya Party (GSP).
