The cinema hall owners association on Monday said that cinema halls in Assam will not reopen until November 13.
The cinema halls were earlier scheduled to reopen after the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) was released by the Assam government.
The Centre had earlier allowed the states to reopen theatres from October 15 however, the cinema halls in Assam did not reopen without the guidelines issued by the government.
During a press meet on Monday, the association said that cinema halls in the state will not reopen until November 13 next month. The decision was taken after consulting with its members, it said.
