Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday evening visited the residence of martyr Raben Das at Hathinapur, Barpeta.
The minister offered his homage to Raben Das, who sacrificed his life in an operation against cow smugglers and had set an example of ultimate heroism and dedication.
As per the state government cabinet decision, Sarbananda handed over an ex-gratia of Rs. 10 lakhs to family members of Raben Das.
Swahid Raben Das’s ultimate sacrifice will remain immortal. As per Assam Govt’s cabinet decision, handed over ex-gratia of ₹ 10 lakh to his family members.
