Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma urged ULFA not to put any bandh on 26th January. During the SP conference held recently in Duliajan, he made this proposition to the organization. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that he is gradually moving forward to solve the ULFA issue.
ULFA did not declare any bandh on August 15 last year. Stating this, the Chief Minister urged the organization not to declare bandh on this Republic Day as well.
