The alliance between the Congress party and the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has now become official.
Party presidents of both the political groups, Ripun Bora (Congress) and Badaruddin Ajmal (AIUDF) have united together and started their 2021 Assembly Election campaign.
Both the party leaders had traveled together in the same helicopter to reach the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) for the campaign. They will do election campaigns at Kalaigaon, Parbatjura, Nonoi Serfang, and Pasnoi Serfang of the BTR region.
However, no official press release or press conference was released confirming their alliance.
Earlier, Assam Gana Parishad (AGP) leader Atul Bora during his speech at the ‘Jatiya Oikya Sanmilan’ held at Biswanath stated, “Congress and AIUDF are trying to form a new alliance party in Assam. AIUDF is a communal party and Congress was formed to fight for freedom from British rule.
If AIUDF and Congress come together the era of ‘Second Kalyug’ will start, there won’t be any Assamese culture or people left if their alliance comes to power and capture Dispur.”
The AGP leader further urged the people to be cautious and stay away from such an alliance party.
Gratitude to the people of Biswanath for showering @agpofficial_ with their love & support. Another successful completion of ‘Jatiya Oikyo Samaroh’ shows the appeal AGP still has amongst the people of Assam. Congratulations to the organisers. pic.twitter.com/gM0nBvI9xj
