Assam Irrigation Department Minister Bhabesh Kalita on Tuesday claimed that the Congress-All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) alliance will only get a maximum of 15 to 17 seats in the upcoming Assembly election.

Speaking to media in Rangia, the Irrigation minister also said that the future of the Congress party is bleak and the party is now just a big zero. In the upcoming election, the party is set to get seats in single-digit numbers and the Congress-AIUDF in combine will get just 15-17 seats.

The minister also took a dig into the newly formed Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) party’s promise to provide employment to the youth in Assam. He commented, “let them form the government first and then give promises and assurance and always be practical.
Our BJP party does not believe in politics based on religion and is always committed to the development, peace, and progress of Assam.
